Besides our main apps, we can offer a number of services around body-interactive sound for different applications, especially workshops.

Body-interactive sound is a new medium and requires a new approach to the process of composition. Over the past few years, we have gained a lot of experience in this area. We are happy to share this in in-person workshops with professional performers, students and young people.
All workshops can be held in German or English. It is required for participants to have a compatible device with Sonic Moves Creator installed. Software licenses are not included in the workshop price. All prices are for venues inside Germany. Additional travel costs may be incurred for locations outside of Germany.
Sonic Moves founder, designer and developer Marc-André Weibezahn gives an introduction to the Sonic Moves apps. This includes a general introduction to the workflow as well as answering individual questions. This will be followed by a hands-on session with individual support, in which participants will explore the first interactive connections between the body and sound. Assistance is provided in the form of templates and sounds. The aim is to create simple compositions that convey the principle and end with a sense of achievement. If an iPhone is available, the pieces can be taken home.
After an introduction by developer and designer Marc-André Weibezahn, co-founder and musician Jakob Gruhl will show how he works with the Sonic Moves Creator. He has been using the tool for a year now to develop interactive compositions, some of which can also be found in the Sonic Moves Player app. Participants will first learn how the sounds and effects in the software can be used artistically and musically in order to then link them with interactions. The aim is to create initial compositions that contain multi-layered sounds and various links to the body.
Together with professional contemporary dancer Tomoko Nakasato, participants create expressive body-interactive sounds for abstract or narrative performances. Founders Marc-André Weibezahn and Jakob Gruhl will assist with all technical and musical questions.
